Trip to see war bunker

THE Sonning Common Fish bus will run a trip called “RAF at War” on March 29.

This will comprise a visit to RAF Uxbridge to see the Battle of Britain bunker and the Bentley Priory Museum in Stanmore, which was Fighter Command’s headquarters.

The trip costs £10 plus a £3 donation to RAF Uxbridge and £7 admission at the museum. Collection is from the village hall at 8.45am, returning at 3.30pm. To book, call 0118 972 3986.
