A HOME for people with autism and learning disabilities in Sonning Common has been rated “outstanding” following an inspection.
The Care Quality Commission visited Pages Orchard in January.
In their report, the inspectors said the home valued and respected the three residents and commended its high level of care and responsiveness.
Staff were passionate about ensuring the residents had a high quality of life.
The home is run by the Disabilities Trust charity.
Irene Sobowale, the trust’s chief executive, said: “We are thrilled with this glowing report.
“I am incredibly proud of our staff who put those we support at the heart of their work every day. To see the team described in the report as ‘excellent, dedicated, committed and determined’ is a wonderful achievement.”
Vicky Pace, manager of the home, said: “I am hugely proud to be associated with such a dedicated staff team. This report is testament to their hard work.”
