TWO kitchens in Sonning Common have been handed the top food hygiene rating.

Pierreponts Café in Peppard Road and the Kites Kitchen at Sonning Common Primary School in Grove Road were awarded five stars out of five under the national Scores on the Doors scheme, following inspections in December.

The café was judged as “good” for its structural compliance, food hygiene and safety and confidence in management.

The catering at the school was rated “very good” for its food hygiene and safety and “good” for its structural compliance and confidence in management.
