DIRECT drilling is an alternative to the traditional ploughing-up of paddocks and grazing land involving all the processes required for working the ground down. This new method means you can refresh your paddocks with minimum disturbance.

This can be particularly beneficial this year, following the prolonged wet and cold weather which has resulted in poached-up paddocks.

Direct drilling maximizes your grazing with minimum disturbance as the new seed is drilled into the existing grassland. This is followed by flatrolling, meaning that animals can be back on the land within a matter of weeks. Paddocks can be refreshed rather than reseeded from scratch.

This manner of direct drilling covers all aspects of reseeding from grazing through to cover and forage crops.

This is a highly efficient and relatively new machine to this area and is proving to be a popular method in which to reseed tired paddocks and grassland in order that they can be grazed more quickly and efficiently.
