THE Sonning Common and Peppard E side held on for a draw with club mates Sonning Common D despite only having two players. Malcolm Gregory recorded a hat-trick that included an 11-3, 9-11, 10-12, 11-9, 14-12 success over Mark Jones after his comeback victory over Allan Mollett 7-11, 14-16, 11-5, 11-1 11-8.
Pangbourne WMC A beat Sonning Common and Peppard C 6-4 while Angus Jones hit a maximum to help Sonning Common and Peppard F beat Tilehurst Methodists D 7–3 in their Division 4 match.
In Division 5 Julian James won all three of his matches in fifth game deciders as Sonning Common and Peppard H won their re-arranged fixture with Springfield C 8-2, team mate Mike Casserely also winning all three. This was the Springfield team’s first defeat of the season.
