Perry and Rogan dominant as side ease to home league win

HENLEY Tennis Club’s B team ran out 6-2 winners in their Oxfordshire League Division 4 clash at home to Oxford last Saturday.

The Henley pairing of Daniel Barr and Paul Ulrich showed strong form in the first set against Oxford’s top duo, winning 6-3.

Oxford responded in the second set, levelling the score with a
6-4 win. Henley’s pair regained control in the second match to clinch a 6-3, 6-1 victory over the second pair from Oxford. In the second match-up, Henley’s Simon Perry and Frankie Rogan were dominant throughout, winning
6-0, 6-2 win in the first match as the Oxford pair struggled to break the hosts’ rhythm.

Oxford’s first pair managed to find their footing in the next match, narrowly edging out Henley’s pair in the first set, 6-3. Henley bounced back to secure a 6-4 victory in the second set.
