Theatre in help plea

THE Kenton Theatre in Henley is appealing for volunteers.

The New Street venue is a charity, so it depends on people who give up their time to do different jobs.

A key role is front of house manager, who is responsible for the theatre when it is open. There are also ushers, who sit in the auditorium during performances, licensed bar and coffee bar volunteers and people who run the box office.

An open morning will be held at the theatre on Saturday, October 15 from 11am to 1pm to give people an idea of what is involved and a chance to meet leaders of the five teams of volunteers and hear how they work together.
