POET and national treasure Pam Ayres will make a one-date appearance at the Kenton Theatre on Sunday, September 29.
The eagerly-awaited new poetry collection from Pam You Made me Late Again! launches on September 26 with more than 50 new poems.
Pam, known for her dry wit, explores a number of new phenomena in the collection, including wishing your husband was more dashing to becoming a gran for the first time, exploding wardrobes and knowing you must eat more fruit.
Subject such as the dog being afraid of the toaster are also explored.
Most of the poems in You Made Me Late Again! are brand new but there are also a few old favourites from her stage shows, published for the first time, such as The Make-Up Lady and Tippy Tappy Feet.

The publication of Pam’s new book coincides with Pam’s Autumn 2013 UK Concert Tour, together with appearances at several Literary Festivals, details of which are below. Pam has sold millions of books, CDs, and DVDs over the years, and she is still a regular on TV and Radio, on programmes such as Just A Minute, Ayres On The Air, QI, Countdown, and The One Show.
