A PLAY about a former classical actor turned reluctant pantomime dame is the next production by the Chiltern Players.

Up the Beanstalk Again by Alan Marshall tells the story of Laurence, who amid the debris of a complicated friendship is forced to come to terms with what his life has become — with a little help from fellow thespians Pat and Eric, aka Daisy the pantomime cow.

The play opens at the Peppard Memorial Hall on Thursday (April 14) and runs until Saturday, April 16. Showtime is 8pm each night.

Tickets are priced £8 and can be booked by calling 0118 972 2632.
