Relief for businesses and drivers as bridge re-opens

West Street in Henley will be closed for a further three weeks for emergency sewer repairs.

The street had been shut on Tuesday, March 4 while contractors worked on the stretch or road at the junction with Adwell Square, near the fire station.

However, they have now applied for up to a further 21 days starting on Tuesday (18), meaning the road may not re-open until Monday, April 7.

There is no waiting at any time while the work takes place but there is access to West Street for residents and the fire service. The one-way restrictions have been temporarily lifted at both ends.
