A4130 roadworks cause bus timetable changes

A SHUTTLE bus service will be running during the resurfacing works on the A4130 at Bix, which begin on Monday.

The Thames Travel service will run a diversionary route between the village and Henley town centre.

The pick-up point will be Bix church and will connect with the 139 service at Henley.

Monday to Saturday departure times will be broadly 10 minutes and 30 minutes past the hour.

There will be some variation in the morning and evening peak periods. A two-hourly service will operate on Sundays.

These arrangements may require revision as the scheme progresses but the communities affected will be kept informed.

Oxfordshire County Council is carrying out major reconstruction work along the dual carriageway which is expected to take up to 30 weeks and cost £4.5 million.
