TRAFFIC flowed smoothly through Henley this morning (Monday) as Greys Road shut for 10 weeks of road works.
Contractors from Southern Gas Networks closed the street shortly after 9am, avoiding disruption during the morning rush hour.
The road is shut between Duke Street and Deanfield Avenue so that a main gas pipe can be upgraded.
A diversion is in place and the Greys Road entrance to Greys Road car park is shut although the other entrance, off Market Place, will remain open.
Homes and businesses on the affected section of the street still have access. There is no parking in Deanfield Avenue and Paradise Road.
