Snowdrop teas return

THE 21st annual snowdrop teas at St Botolph's Church in Swyncombe will be held next month.

They will be held on the three weekends of  February 11 and 12, 18 and 19 and 25 and 26 from 2pm to 4pm each day.

There will be tea and cakes, preserves and books for sale. Visitors will also be able to buy snowdrops grown by the congregation. A choral evensong will take place in the church on Sunday, February 19 at 4.30pm.

Rev Angie Paterson, associate priest, will bless the snowdrops on a date to be confirmed.

Money raised from the teas goes to the church, which dates back to the Normans. Last year, £4,200 was raised.
