He was found guilty in his absence at Oxford Magistrates’ Court and fined £220. He was also ordered to pay £150 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

On May 25 Manoj Bhardwaj drove a 32-tonne heavy goods vehicle through Watlington and was reported by the public.

He pleaded guilty by post and was fined £150 and ordered to pay £150 costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

In November signs were installed on the M40 warning of the weight limit restriction.
