Less muddy

THE Whitchurch green team wants to make Muddy Lane less muddy.

The volunteers were planning to scalp the lane off Eastfield Lane to remove the top muddy surface but are now considering asking a professional to do the work.

Parish council chairman Jim Donahue said it was recommended that after this work the lane is maintained at least once a year, including removing leaves in autumn.
