MORE than £40,000 was raised by the Sue Ryder Starlight Hike on Saturday.

About 400 people took part in the annual walk in the grounds of Pangbourne College with many wearing glow-in-the-dark accessories

Fern Pilutkiewicz, head of fundraising, said: “Thanks so much to everyone who took part. It was amazing to see everybody celebrating the memory of loved ones while helping to raise funds.”
