Podcasts on travelling, mums and adventures at Henley theatre

GEORGIE Parvin and Hattie Sanderson, both from Shiplake, have organised three podcast nights at the Kenton Theatre.
The series starts on Wednesday, February 11 with “Travel Secrets — The Podcast with Tanya Rose”, featuring the host who has interviewed people such as Dame Joan Collins and James Norton about how they travel.

Enchantment, Old Fire Station Gallery (Fri Apr 11 to Mon Apr 14)

A group of eight artists who use different creative methods and materials are coming together for an art exhibition at the Old Fire Station Gallery this weekend. Curated by artist Adriana Rabinovich, from Harwell, “Enchantment” showcases her work alongside that of Arbie Edward, Emma Clifton-Brown, Gabriele Kern, Gary Goodman, Melissa Kime, Neal Morley and Sheila Pehrson.

My musical life, which came as surprise to me

Lyricist Sir Tim Rice has written the words of some of the best-known musical hits of the last few decades. The 80-year-old Hambleden resident and long-time musical partner to Andrew Lloyd Webber will be talking about some of these tunes and regaling the audience with behind-the-scenes stories when his bestselling show, “Tim Rice – My Life In Musicals: I Know Him So Well” goes on tour, starting next Friday at the Hexagon in Reading.
