PUPILS in years four, five and six at St Mary’s School in Henley took part in a “Harry Potter Night of Spells”. It was part of national event in schools and libraries to encourage children to read the books by JK Rowling rather than rely on the films. The children dressed up as characters from the books, made badges and hats on the theme of Harry Potter to wear and took part in activities such as potion making, spells in the science lab and games of quidditch. They also listened to Harry Potter stories.
