PERFORMANCE Cricket was set up in 2006 to further enhance the opportunities for cricket development and performance in the area.
Directed and managed by former Yorkshire CCC playing professional, Henley CC head coach and first XI player Chris Ellison, the programmes now cover a great deal of Berkshire and South Oxfordshire.
Chris is Berkshire’s only ECB level four-qualified coach and he leads a fantastic team of skilled, highly qualified, experienced and enthusiastic coaches.
Performance Cricket’s growth and flagship reputation now sees Chris supported by two full-time coaching and development officers, Guy Ashby and Chris Lunn.
Both Guy and Chris lead and support county age group sessions for Berkshire.
All the coaching team are committed to excellence in coaching delivery in a wide variety of programmes including clubs, schools, one-to-one coaching and school holiday cricket camps and academies.
In addition, Performance Cricket recently added “Little Crickets” for three- to six-year-olds to their programmes running indoors at Shiplake College during the winter months and outdoors at Henley CC and Kidmore End CC in the summer.
Performance Cricket have a host of activities coming up during February half-term, the Easter holidays and the summer at Shiplake College, Henley CC and Kidmore End CC.
