Gang breaks into garage

THREE men forced their way into a petrol station in Charvil and stole cash and cigarettes.

The raid happened at the Texaco station on the A4 Bath RoadÂ at about 2.40am onÂ Thursday last week.

Police said the gang forcedÂ open theÂ doors using a metal object and then smashed open the till.

They are appealing for witnesses. The offenders are described as two white men and one black man. All three were wearing hoods. They ran off in the direction of the Wee Waif pub.

Dc Amy Hickman-Holden said: “We are asking for anyone with further information to please call Thames Valley Police on 101.’
