THE Miles School of Dancing has recently returned from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing grand finals at the majestic Winter Gardens in Blackpool, glowing from the success of its students.
In total, the school was victorious in six competitions. The winners included Gillian Peeling, who won the over-50s social jive.
It’s a proud moment for everyone as Gillian only started dancing at the beginning of 2014, in the first beginner’s class run on Mondays at Henley Town Hall by Richard Miles and his team.
Other winners included Ewa Jaremko, Rachel Smith and Del Meakin and Lynn Dowding in the couple’s events.
Richard’s partner Gemma was also the proud winner of the “double” by triumphing in both the ballroom and Latin events in the over-35 gold section.
The Miles School of Dancing is a family-run business that has a long history of teaching people to dance.
For all ages, from fun and social dancing through to exams and competitions, the highly experienced team are able to cater for everybody.
The Miles School of Dancing runs various classes on a Monday and Thursday for beginners to advanced standard in Henley Town Hall.
The school will host a Christmas Dance on Saturday, December 12. You don’t need to be attending the classes to come along.
If you would like to attend — or to find out more about dance classes, call Richard on 07888 840942 or email info@Â milesschoolofdancing.co.uk
