SONNING Common’s community gardening group may work on a joint project with the village’s new children’s home.

Parish councillor Chrissie Phillips-Tilbury, who organises the Village Gardeners, said she had spoken about the idea with Calcot Services for Children, which is renovating the former Orchard Lodge care home in Baskerville Road for an opening later this year.
