ARTIST Sarah Pye is going to be showcasing her work at five events and offering a chance to meet her.
She will be taking part in the Henley Arts Trail from Saturday to Monday, May 4 to 6 at the Big Plant Nursery in Wargrave Road, Twyford, which is venue No 25.
From Saturday, May 4 to Sunday, May 19, she will be appearing at the Odney Club for the Cookham Arts Festival.
Then from Thursday, May 23 to Wednesday, June 5, Sarah will be at Greys Court.
From Friday to Monday, August 23 to 26, she will be at the Stonor Country Craft Show at Stonor Park, then on Saturday, September 14, she will be at the Henley Farm and Country Show at the Henley Showground.
Her large impressionist paintings are created straight on to a blank canvas, with lots of paint. Sarah is inspired by the colours and light of nature and drops, dribbles and splashes acrylics with impressionist expression.
Many layers go on to each individual piece and the work evolves naturally, sometimes taking on an almost pointillist appearance when complete.
