“SIX years ago two local mums came up with the idea of selling their friends’ unwanted children’s clothes from their garden shed and so the Clothes Shed was born. In the summer of this year, I was lucky enough to purchase the company and continue with this wonderful business,” says Phillippa Taphouse.
The Clothes Shed specialises in selling your children’s well-kept and beautiful clothing so you don’t have to. The ethos is simple. You provide them with what you want to sell (in immaculate condition and washed and ironed) and they sell it on a 50/50 basis. From baby clothes to teenagers, they stock Mini Boden, Johnnie B, Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Joules, Ralph Lauren and many more.
They hold monthly sales at LA Fitness (having outgrown the shed) in Henley where you can grab a bargain or two and a coffee. Flash sales are often held on Saturdays too. They are passionate about children’s clothing and providing your precious little ones with good quality clothing at a fraction of the price.
See for yourselves at the next sale on Wednesday, December 11 from 9am to 2pm at LA Fitness.
