CHILDREN at Peapods have been busy preparing for the Easter bonnet parade, which was held in our field during our Easter party along with an Easter egg hunt and a visit from Caterpillar music.
Two weeks ago they enjoyed a dance-a-thon, dancing for an hour and playing musical instruments (the violin and accordion were especially popular) to raise money for Red Nose Day.
The eclipse was another exciting day, making pinhole projectors, learning about safety for our eyes by wearing the eclipse glasses, and even though it was cloudy it was an enjoyable and positive experience learning about our universe.
After Easter we are looking forward to the arrival of an incubator and fertilised eggs so we can follow the development of chicks.
Peapods is a family-run nursery school in Peppard for two- to four-year-olds, set in a spacious barn with plenty of outside space.
We have a few spaces left for September and will soon be taking bookings for our half-term and summer holiday clubs.
