AN OPEN afternoon was held at funeral directors A B Walker & Son in Reading Road, Henley.
Visitors were able to discuss the benefits of planning a funeral, probate and the importance of having a will. Managing director Julian Walker said: ‘This was an opportunity for people to talk about the end of life. It isn’t easy to face your own mortality but planning ahead is a secure financial decision and a way of helping your family at a difficult time.” Pictured, left to right, Peter Hopkins (Mercers solicitors), Claudine Russell (A B Walker & Son), Mayor Lorraine Hillier, Julian Walker, Councillor Sarah Miller, and Councillor David Eggleton
