Pub closure

09:30AM, Monday 21 October 2024

A PUB in CAVERSHAM closed on Friday last week.

The Travellers Rest in Henley Road had been leased by pub operator Mitchells and Butler, which decided to walk away after a “review” of its estate.

A spokesman for the company said it would be redeploying as many staff as possible at its other businesses nearby, adding: “We would like to thank our wonderful customers for their loyalty over the years.”

Henley pub company Brakspear, which owns the pub, is advertising for a new tenant.
