This year’s Rokefest raised about £7,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Twenty-two bands performed freeat the Home Sweet Home pub in Roke, near Benson, over two-and-a-half days. The line-up included Hustler, Junction 6, the Steve Summers Band and The M.F.U. who played for free. The weekend also included a barbecue, hog roast and beer festival. Andrew Goss, one of the organisers said: “It was brilliant a nd probably the best year in terms of bands and attendance as we had more than 1,000 people.” Among the visitors was John Lodge, of the Moody Blues.
