A BICYCLE rack could be installed at Wargrave recreation ground.

The suggestion was made at the annual parish meeting by Diane Bush.

She said: “With all the children playing football and us trying to be bike-friendly, could I put to the council installing a bike rack as a future project?”

Councillor Marion Pope said: “We are looking at a bike rack for the BMX track plus a seat for people to use but we will look into this too.”

Chairman Richard Bush said: “It would encourage more people to come by bike and also cut down the number of cars.”
