CHECKENDON Equestrian Centre is a British Horse Society Riding School with professional, qualified staff.
The centre runs holiday courses, both full and half days, for children and adults to learn to ride or improve their riding skills — as well as learning some stable management. The courses include the following components each day:
lTwo hours of riding. This can be either lessons and/or a session of hacking in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, which is easily accessible from the centre
lTwo hours of stable management instruction
lLearning how to care for your horse. This includes grooming, feeding and learning to care for ponies and horses
lLots of fun!
Day courses run from either 8am to 6pm or from 10am to 4pm. A half-day course starts at 10am and finishes at 1pm. This includes an hour of riding and one hour of stable management and grooming as in the full day.
To find out more about how to learn to ride or improve your riding and horse management skills, please contact Linda on (01491) 680225 or linda@checkendonequestrian.co.uk.
