ST ANNE?S Catholic Primary School in Caversham has been taken out of special measures after achieving a ?good? rating from Ofsted.

Inspectors praised the Washington Road school for its rapid improvement, particularly in the quality of teaching, since it was rated ?inadequate? in November 2013.

Headteacher Margot Buller said: ?The outcome is a tribute to everyone who has been involved with the school over the past two years and we are all committed to building on this success into the future.?
