A WOMAN was injured after being struck by car in Caversham.

The incident happened at the junction with Briants Avenue at about 11.25am on Monday, February 29 and involved a black Vauxhall Corsa.

The 51-year-old was taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital but her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
