Village barbecue

A VILLAGE barbecue will be held in South Stoke on Sunday.

South Stoke Amenities Charity and Wildlife Conservation Group is organising the event in the recreation ground.

The bar will open at 1pm and there will be food from 2 pm.

There will be a promises auction with prizes including two Club Wembley corporate tickets for England versus Australia on October 13, a combine harvester ride, an introduction to a potter’s wheel and an evening’s babysitting.

Tickets (£9) can be bought on the day or in advance from the village shop.
