Walking for wards

10:22AM, Thursday 07 September 2023

A NEW 15km route has been added to the Walk for Wards charity event at Mapledurham House on Sunday, September 24. The event is in aid of the Royal Berks Charity, which works with the NHS to help fund new equipment and provide support for staff. The walk, which is now in its second year, starts and finishes in front of the house. The two other routes are a 5km and 10km. The start time is 9am. Due to the nature of the terrain, all the routes are unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. Dogs on leads are welcome. Tickets for all routes cost £10 each, which includes a finisher’s medal. Under-fives and dogs enter free. For more information, visit www.royalberkscharity.co.uk/walkforwards
