Sign up for festive run

09:30AM, Monday 09 December 2024

THE Henley Santa fun run will take place on Sunday, December 8 at 10am.

It will start and finish at Leander Club and runners can choose a 1km or 4km off-road route.

Participants will receive a free Santa hat and hot chocolate and mince pies will be provided at the finish. Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed family and runner aged under 10 as well as first and second places.

The event, now in its sixth year, is sponsored by Rupert House School. A family ticket for up to four people costs £15 and adult entry is £5. All proceeds will go to the Mayor’s charities, the Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary, Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund and the Bluebells day centre.

Last year, more than 200 runners took part, a record for the event, and raised £1,000. To enter, visit www.santaontherun.co.uk
