BELLY dancing is a relaxing and enlivening dance that helps tone the body and improve body confidence. Its benefits include improved fitness, better circulation, suppleness and correction of postural alignment. Many women say it help them regain their “feminine” self.

Sonia Matthews started belly dancing in South Africa, and operated a school in Mauritius for four years. Sonia’s Belly Dance Academy was launched in January 2013 in Caversham and Sonning Common.
