HENLEY’s newest addition to relaxation and wellbeing opened in August and is already popular with those in need of a little pampering and “me-time”.

Island Massages on Reading Road offers a range of different massages to suit all needs and niggles. Whether you’d like a gentler aromatherapy experience or deeper Shiatsu and sports massage, Island Massages has the expertise to help you relax and unwind, leaving you feeling energised and invigorated.

Chloe James is one recent visitor. She said: “When I visited I noted the newly-decorated interior. It was fresh and clean and I was welcomed with a friendly face.

“I enjoyed a back, shoulder and neck massage which consisted of long effleurage strokes mixed with deeper tissue techniques and soon left me totally relaxed. It didn’t take long for my therapist to find the troublesome knots in my shoulders, too. With relaxing music whispering in the background I enjoyed 35 luxurious minutes of careful muscle manipulation which was much-needed after a stressful week. On my walk home, I felt my hunched shoulders were not under my ears anymore and I had a spring in my step.”

Island Massages also offers a new anti-cellulite treatment using a lymph massage technique with vacuum cup massage. The treatment can be combined with honey massage using powerful natural honey which encourages the withdrawal of toxins from the skin.

Gift cards are available for those you wish to spoil this autumn. To book your appointment call (01491) 572581 or visit www.island massages.co.uk
