CANNELLE in Henley is a delight to frequent. Elegantly set out and with a very inviting reception - tranquillity and skin rejuvenation certainly beckoned!

I was treated to their new CLINICCARE Skin Peeling to renew the texture and rosiness us ladies crave so much - especially as the lighter evenings draw nigh.

This form of exfoliation is a 20- to 25-minute treatment which is often referred to as the ‘perfect replacement for chemical peels’. It is very gentle and calming, and the expertise of the staff here puts you immediately at ease. The skin is cleansed before the gel is applied and gently massaged to remove dead cells. Unlike microdermabrasion and many scrubs or exfoliators there are no gritty bits and it feels gentle and light.

Enzymes in the gel peel and uncover a smooth new complexion without drying, irritating or causing stress to the skin. So for people who find microdermabrasion or even simple exfoliators irritate their skin it really does offer the best solution.

For those lucky enough to be going on holiday soon, the treatment is a perfect start to the tanning process too, because CLINICCARE will aid an even tan and keep your skin in perfect condition to limit the dreaded peeling.

It is also worth remembering we should exfoliate regularly for our other facial treatments to work and be absorbed by newly regenerated skin. As such you could perceive this treatment actually saves you money (that’s certainly what I shall tell my other half!).

With an introductory offer to try this there really are no reasons not to give it a try.

The treatment is so rapid I was able to ‘renew my youth’ during a lunch break and still have time for a superfood salad! I left feeling thoroughly rejuvenated, with a lovely fresh complexion and with new vigour for the afternoon ahead.
