YOU have probably heard of Riverside Counselling Service — a charity that has been offering affordable counselling in the Henley area for more than 25 years.
What you may not know is that Riverside also offers a part-time course in “Introduction to counselling and interpersonal skills”.
People have many reasons for taking an introductory counselling course. They may want to discover more about themselves and others to improve their personal and work relationships. They may be considering training as a counsellor or simply want to learn more about counselling.
Those working in education, human resources, the law, health or any area where human interaction is so important would all benefit. Counselling skills can enhance both your personal and professional life. Past students have said of their experience:
“A life-changing course.”
“The course became the highlight of my week and taught me that I really can enjoy learning!”
“Mind-expanding and stimulating. And I met such an interesting and varied group of people.”
The 10-week course starts on Thursday, January 14, from 10am to noon at the Christ Church Centre, Reading Road, Henley. Cost: £210.
