A TAPROOM in Henley has closed following the announcement that its parent company is to go through a restructuring.
The independent brewery Phantom Brewing Co said Echoes in Gardiner Place and its sister site in Reading would not re-open following the Christmas break.
It added that it had been planning “the next chapter for Phantom” for some time, including a move to a new production facility. Trade sales will also stop while the business restructures.
The company said the pause will last longer than its usual Christmas break, as it works to put “the appropriate foundations in place for the next phase” of its life.
Echoes Henley opened in October 2023, and moved into what was the new Gardiner Place development that was formerly Market Place Mews.
