THE Henley Distillery has been shortlisted for the Thames Valley SME business of the year.
The distillery, at Hampstead Farm, near Binfield Health is a finalist for the award given by the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce for the best small and medium business which has maintained consistent growth.
The business was founded in June 2021 by father and son Alan and Jacob Wilson, from Henley, and produces its own selection of Henley gins and Temple Island Rum.
Kerry Moores, head of marketing, said: “It has been three years of really hard work. We started from nothing and we have achieved so much. Each year, we sell 400,000 bottles to independent farm shops. We are a company that is really growing and making a positive impact.
“This has given us the chance to stand back and really take stock of what we have achieved and for our whole team to get together and celebrate.”
The awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in Reading on Thursday.
