VOLKSWAGEN is celebrating its Scirocco sports coupé breaking the one million unit production barrier by introducing a special edition version.
On sale in Germany and China only, the Scirocco Million is available in black, with a number of distinctive styling features, including R-Line bumpers, R-Line side sills, smoked tail lights, ‘Million’ stickers on the wings and dark tinted rear windows.
Inside the special model features black leather upholstery with orange contrasting stitching, as well as other orange highlights, plus ‘Million’ decals on the door sills.
The first generation Scirocco was launched in 1974. Seven years later, in 1981, the second generation was introduced, remaining in production until 1992. A total of 795,650 Mk I and II Sciroccos were built.
2008 saw the third generation Scirocco hit the road, and in just under five years, more than 204,350 fans across the world have purchased one.
