A COMMUNITY fruit and vegetable box scheme has been launched in Goring.

The lottery—funded initiative allows residents to buy a “share” in a local smallhold farm for 31 weeks of the year. In exchange, they get a box once a week filled with a mix of produce depending upon what is in season.

The Goring scheme is run by Farm to Table Produce, of Goring Heath, which has a stall at the Catherine Wheel pub’s Saturday market. To find out more, call 07583 230157 or visit www.farmtotableproduce.co.uk
