A PUBLIC footpath that crosses the playing fields at the Oratory Preparatory School in Goring Heath could be diverted.

Oxfordshire County Council intends to adjust it so that it skirts around the pitches instead.

The school has told the council that some dog walkers don’t clean up after their pets, creating a health hazard for pupils.

The new path would be 2m wide with a grass surface and would run along the north-western edge of the site.

A public consultation will run until October 9. Comments can be sent by email to andy.sylvester@oxfordshire. gov.uk
