A CELEBRATION will be held for the athletes who compete at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris this summer.
Heroes Return will take place on September 21 to welcome members of Team GB’s rowing squad.
The event is being organised by Leander Club along with Henley Town Council.
After the last Olympics in Tokyo three years ago, the event featured a rowpast from Leander Club towards the River & Rowing Museum and then back to Upper Thames Rowing Club.
It was followed by an open-top bus tour with the athletes and autograph signing outside the town hall.
