Converted barn hasn't lost that festive feeling

Last week LUCY BOON picked out some suitably festive ‘Christmas card’ properties. With just over two weeks to go until the day itself, here is another

A CERTAIN baby may have been born in a barn, but we bet it wasn’t as cosy as this one.

Long Barn was converted in the Eighties and sits bang in the centre of Sonning — home of the Mill at Sonning dinner theatre.

Although if it’s Christmas panto you’re after, you’d best talk to Long Barn vendor, the well-known playwright/lyricist Warner Brown, who has penned the score to many a musical, including Cinderella, which was performed at the London Palladium.

The property is pretty spacious (essentially a characterful bungalow) and is in okay shape, but as the pictures show it would benefit from some TLC.

Needless to say there is potential here — with sleigh-bells on!
