TWO upper sixth form girls from Sonning’s Reading Blue Coat School have been selected to play different sports for England.
Abby Dow, who was a member of the England U18 team that won the European U18 rugby sevens championships in Liege, Belgium, earlier this month, has been selected for the England Women’s U20 squad for the new season.
Meanwhile Francesca Williams has been selected as vice captain of the England U21 netball squad for the European competition in Aberdeen that takes place from October 2 to 4.
Williams played for an England squad on the U19 summer tour of Australia in July and for the England U19 National Academy Squad that toured Botswana in August 2014.
