DAVE GRIFFITHS, right, possibly the UK’s c-nuttiest campaigning comedian, will bring his King Cnut show to Henley for a fund-raiser nextFriday, December 20.

Dave (pictured right), originally from Peppard, will be performing an abridged version of his stand-up show C U In Court at the Deep clothing shop in Reading Road to raise money for Sue Ryder. The comedian, whose show tells the story of his long fight over trademark infringement with clothing giant French Connection, also played at the Edinburgh Festival this year.

He said: “I’ll be doing a ‘best of’ version of my show which is 30 minutes rather than an hour.

“I’m hoping people will survive standing up in the shop for half an hour — but they will get a glass of fizz to keep them going!”

Tickets for the 8pm show are £3 available from Deep.
