AN ABRIDGED version of the history of comedy will be staged at Norden Farm in maidenhead.
The Reduced Shakespeare Company have been condensing topics into bitesize pieces since 1981. Having previously tackled Shakespeare and the Bible, they have now taken a unique look at the history of what makes us laugh. The three-man troupe are back, with their hit 2014 Edinburgh Fringe show, The Complete History of Comedy (abridged) which takes on perhaps their most appropriate topic ever.
It covers everything from the highbrow to the low brow, from Shakespeare to Vaudeville to Charlie Chaplin.
