FOR 25 years the Great Tithe at Bix Manor under the personal direction of Gary Hall has been hosting some pretty stunning events.
“Helping people plan and celebrate one of the most memorable days of their lives is a wonderful privilege, although a little bit scary,” says Gary.
Gorgeous weddings in autumn and winter around the welcoming fireplace are very charismatic while the country location and beautiful courtyard garden make a perfect summer setting.
“There is plenty of room inside for up to 120 guests; there is nothing worse than worrying about the weather even in the middle of summer,” Gary explains. “And being only two miles from Henley is a real advantage with regards to accommodation for guests.”
Bix Manor also hosts christening parties and special anniversary lunches and dinners. For smaller events, the library seats up to 30 guests.
Gary says: “There is no corkage charge, which is quite a bonus. Whatever you are celebrating, being fabulous at 50, sexy at 60, superb at 70, extraordinary at 80 or just plain naughty at 90 our team will help you move from one decade to the next elegantly and (dis)gracefully!”
